THE HISTORY OF STACKBOSS
I’ve been passionate about technology for as long as I can remember. Majoring in Computer Science and owning & operating an IT services firm for the past 16 years has taught me a lot about the intersection of people and tech. I carry three of those lessons with me every day I go to work:
The first is that there is always more to do, better ways to do it, and a lack of resources that fit my specific needs to get it done well. I’m constantly seeking new ways to solve similar problems while trying to piece together the optimal solution from a vast universe of options.
The second is that excellent processes drive outsized results. As I identify repeatable tasks, I design protocols for addressing them more efficiently next time around. When automation is embedded in those processes, the results are even more consistent and performant.
The third is that the right tools, built by industry professionals with the right expertise, act as a force multiplier, freeing your developers, operations, and IT teams to excel at what they do best. Nothing is more satisfying than giving DevOps team members critical time back to redeploy towards high value projects.
These lessons in particular inspired us to build StackBoss. It’s an intelligent cloud management engine for the public cloud, private cloud, and SaaS products that your technology is built upon. We use AI to automatically manage and right-size cloud infrastructure while connecting critical workflows across the most popular DevOps tools. Cost management, right-sizing, observability, and automation are embedded in the platform and delivered to you in either a fully automated system or via easy-to-action recommendations. SaaS hosted and cloud-agnostic, StackBoss is designed from the ground up to make on-boarding a snap, delivering immediate value out-of-the-box.
We think introducing automation across infrastructure lifecycle management and common developer workflows is the future and a critical, missing link in the modern DevOps toolkit. This is just the beginning of our journey to execute our vision of making developers’ work easier and more rewarding - we welcome you to join us via our beta and see for yourself.
Sincerely,
